Can We Still Be Friends Movie Store

Would you be able to remain companions with your ex? Particularly when despite everything you're living respectively? That is the preface of Star Cinema's most recent romantic comedy, "Would we be able to Still Be Friends?," featuring Gerald Anderson and Arci Muñoz, who featured together in a year ago's "Dependably Be My Maybe."

Burrows (Anderson) and Sam (Muñoz) have been as one for a long time, sharing an apartment suite and a puppy named Bugsie. One day Sam begins getting to be noticeably tired of her beau's defects; his wreckage, his video-gaming, and his money related insecurity. This prompts a separation—yet Sam, in an inviting and tender way, demands that Digs remain in the apartment suite that he's additionally paying for. Is it feasible for them to stay just companions?

Coordinated by Prime Cruz ("Sleepless") and script by Jenilee Chuansu, "Would we be able to Still Be Friends?" feels extremely empty. With an awfully drowsy and confounded pacing, discourse without mind and substance, and characters with no human qualities, it is a peculiar bit of silver screen. It's a layout of a story, not a genuine account, disabled and not able to express anything genuine.

Regardless, Sam and Digs have been as one for almost 10 years yet you can't detect that long-term couple vibe. They're strained, reluctant and conditional towards each other, and their relationship is construct just with respect to their adoration for Lucky Me pancit canton.

Burrows has an identity of a block. Anderson is an able performer yet his Digs is solid, a clear sheet of  paper. As though his match of trendy person glasses and unendingly pressed together lips can give him an identity. What's with the lips? In the mean time, Muñoz's Sam is additionally an unfilled vessel: all you see is a lady with a honors night hair and substantial cosmetics day in and day out, in addition to her intermittent "dad infant" manner of speaking. That is the degree of her "identity."

So when they separate, you don't feel the misfortune, the disaster. Since these individuals don't feel like genuine people. After the exhausting separation battle in the eatery, we are never offered space to stew, to get a handle on the stun of the split, since seconds after the fact they are now friendly and bashfully consenting to live respectively.
